Aerial Rescue

Technician 1

Covers the basics of wide-angle and aerial rescue techniques.

(Includes the use of ropes, knots, rigging and belaying, rappelling, self-rescue, mechanical advantage, hauling and lowering systems, litter rigging, patient packaging, and third-man rescue.)

Technician 2

Adds to Rescue Technician 1, with more advanced techniques such as line transfers, compound mechanical advantage, and advanced rigging.
